Report Animal Fighting
ATTENTION: ANIMAL FIGHTING IS A CRIME
The South Carolina Attorney General's Office has announced an initiative to reward individuals who report animal fighting cases. This reward can be as great as $5000.00 for information leading to arrest and conviction in an animal fighting case.
Crimestoppers and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) have joined in this statewide effort. There is a toll free hotline to report these incidents, (1-888-CRIME-SC/888-274-6372) or the incidents may be reported on the website: www.sccrimestoppers.com.
The case will be forwarded to the appropriate South Carolina law enforcement agency. Animal fighting involves dogs and birds and is a crime in South Carolina.
