County Council generally meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:00 P.M. each month at the Jasper County Clementa C. Pinckney Government Building, 358 Third Avenue Ridgeland, SC 29936. IF THE FIRST OR THIRD MONDAY FALLS ON A HOLIDAY, THE COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY OF THAT WEEK.

Jasper County is proud to be recognized alongside Beaufort County for our collaborative conservation efforts through the Beaufort County Green Space Program!
This award highlights the power of regional partnerships and our shared commitment to protecting the natural resources that make the Lowcountry so special. From our beautiful beaches and salt marshes to our forests and waterways, these resources extend beyond county lines and deserve a united effort to preserve them for generations to come.
What makes this achievement especially significant is that the Beaufort County Green Space Program is the first in South Carolina to authorize local green space funds to be invested across county boundaries in an adjoining jurisdiction.
This innovative approach demonstrates what can be accomplished when neighboring communities come together, share resources, and work toward a common goal.
Jasper County is proud to be part of this partnership and this important recognition of regional cooperation, environmental stewardship, and a shared commitment to preserving the Lowcountry's quality of life.
