Sergeant Jasper Park Opens TRACK Trails for Kids and Families
(Hardeeville, S.C., July 18, 2025) – In celebration of National Trails Day on August 16, the Jasper County Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Kids in Parks program, will host a grand opening for a new TRACK Trail at Sgt. Jasper Park.
The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. at 1458 Red Dam Road. The ribbon-ceremony will take place at the beginning of the White Trail. more information
Ridgeland, SC – Jasper County is proud to announce the installation of a Narcan vending machine at the Jasper County Detention Center, marking a significant step forward in the County’s fight against the opioid crisis. This initiative was made possible through a partnership with New Life Center and the Department of Public Health, with no cost to local taxpayers.
A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Jasper County Detention Center to commemorate this vital advancement in community health and safety. The event will feature remarks from County officials, representatives from New Life Center, and a speaker in recovery.
