Important Update:
Vehicle Registration ID Requirements:
Jasper County was notified today that the SCDMV will no longer accept a Passport as a valid ID when registering a vehicle effective August 26th 2026.
When registering a vehicle, a valid driver license is now required.
Because of the SCDMV changes, Jasper County will no longer accept a Passport as a valid ID and will be requiring a valid driver license to register a vehicle.

El condado de Jasper fue notificado hoy de que el SCDMV ya no aceptará un pasaporte como identificación válida al registrar un vehículo efectivo de Agosto 26, 2026.
