Human Resources is the gateway of employment opportunities for Jasper County Government. The office is responsible for recruiting and retaining a workforce capable of meeting the goals and objectives of the organization and for fulfilling its mission statement. Human Resources provides various services including: benefits administration, payroll management, workers' compensation (risk management), employee relations, employee verifications, federal and state reporting, administration of performance appraisal program, wage and salary administration, labor relations and numerous other related functions. The office also provides services to active employees, retirees and former Jasper County employees. Jasper County Government is the 5th largest employer in the county and employs a workforce of approximately 271 permanent employees.
